Hej!
Although I do speak Swedish, after 16 years of living away from Sweden, it's a little rusty, but you can reply in Swedish, no problem.
I haven't lived in Malmo since I graduated from school in 1995. I've been living in the States, and am now thinking about moving back to Sweden. I have family and friends there, but I would like to know how to go about to get an apartment, first, and also a job. I wouldn't want to stay with family too long, as it's really crowded in their small apartments anyway. I've been told the living situation is a little hard right now, and it could take up to a year to get a place... how can I do it, if I need a place to live within weeks of arriving?
I was also wondering about social help. One of my friends is a social worker and she said there are rights I could have and help, but that she doesn't really know how it applies to me not having lived in Sweden for so long.
I would enormously appreciate your help in this matter, and any way you could point the way for me as to where I could get the information.
Thanks!!!
