I have nowhere to go

Good afternoon, my partner has kicked me out of the house. We are not married, we just live together. I am not from here, and I have been here for six months. Now he has given me only one week to leave. I need help. I don't know where to go. I have a job, but I just started recently, and I have no family in this country. I am alone. I need help to find somewhere to live
urgently.

Hello!

As we understand you come from a foreign country, have a job, and want to stay in Sweden.

As long as you come from an EU-country and are self-sufficient, you are free to stay in Sweden. However, if you need help from the social services, you can only get short time help in case of emergency. Everyone has the right to apply for either money or somewhere to stay, and you will get information when you do so if you are entitled to help.

If you stay/work in Malmö, you can apply either at

For somewhere to stay:
Boendemottaget, telephone: 040 347557, Monday, Wednesday, friday at 9-11 and Tuesday, Thursday at 13-14.30.

For money:
Ekonomimottaget, telephone: 040 345969, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9-11 and Tuesday 12.30-14.00.

You can also visit them at Sallerupsvägen 11 D, Malmö

If you stay somewhere else in Sweden, you have to contact the social authority at your place.

Hope it will work out for you!

Regards
